It was indeed a special privilege and honour for Women Leadership Foundation (WLF) to have a constructive discussion with YB Datuk Seri Rina. The WLF delegation, led by Datuk (Dr) Hafsah Hashim, Dato Hazimah Zainuddin, Datuk Zunaidah Idris and Puan Ilham Sunhaji had the opportunity to present the case for change and express the need to empower women to fulfil their purpose, passion and potential. Listening to YB Datuk Seri Rina’s mission and vision in enhancing women’s participation in the country inspired us to exert efforts and strive harder to provide visibility for women in Malaysia. Both the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and WLF believe that it is high time for us to break down the barriers and provide opportunities for women to thrive politically, economically and socially and we are committed to achieve this. Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation goes to YB Datuk Seri Rina for the insightful session and we look forward to working closely with Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development in the future to lead women towards the pinnacle of success.
